I work with marketing leaders, founders, and teams navigating real change, not hype cycles.
The shift to AI-driven discovery is reshaping how customers find, trust, and engage with brands. Most leaders don’t need more noise. They need a partner who understands both the technology and the business realities, without an agenda attached.
That’s where I come in.
How I Work
Advisory Retainers: Ongoing partnership for leaders who want a trusted, independent voice in their corner. Regular sessions, on-demand access for quick questions, and a confidential space to pressure-test ideas before they hit the boardroom.
Strategy Consulting: Focused engagements around a specific challenge. Whether that’s rebuilding search strategy, preparing for AI-driven shifts, or aligning product and marketing around a new direction.
Fractional Roles: For organizations that need senior leadership without a full-time hire. I step in to provide strategic direction, team guidance, and executive-level decision-making on marketing or product.
Workshops & Training: Half-day or full-day sessions for leadership teams, boards, or marketing organizations. Built around your context, not generic slides.
Problems I Help Solve
People reach out when they’re facing questions like:
- How should we adapt our SEO and content strategy for AI-driven search?
- What does LLM optimization actually mean for our business and what’s just noise?
- How do we structure our team to handle what’s coming?
- Is our product roadmap aligned with how discovery is evolving?
- We’re hearing five different things from five different vendors, what’s actually true?
- How do we build systems around structured data and knowledge graphs that will last?
The specifics vary. The through-line is the same: experienced leaders dealing with real complexity who want clear thinking, not sales pitches.
What You Walk Away With
Answers. Frameworks. Solutions.
Real answers shaped to your context, your constraints, and your goals. Frameworks you can actually use to guide decisions after our work ends. Solutions that hold up when you pressure-test them with your team or your board.
Most importantly: clarity. On what matters, what doesn’t, and what to do next.
Background
Two decades at the intersection of search, marketing, and AI. I launched Bing Webmaster Tools and helped bring Schema.org to life at Microsoft as well as helping with early Cortana training. I led operations at Bruce Clay Inc. and served as VP of Industry Insights at Yext, advising Fortune 500 clients across financial services, healthcare, retail, and more. I helped with the early LLM training there, too.
I keynote global conferences, write a growing Substack on AI and search, and have authored three books on digital marketing. My work distills that experience into direct partnership with leaders and practitioners who need independence, clarity and results.
